House rules

The purpose of our house rules is to ensure the pleasant relaxation of our guests and to avoid possible misunderstandings and inconveniences. Please read our House Rules before booking and submit your reservation if you accept the House Rules.

By submitting the reservation, we assume that our guests have familiarized themselves with, accepted and will comply with our policy during their stay.

1. Tesz Vendégház is a private accommodation that we operate as an additional activity. We are not always on site, but the hotelier or his representative can be reached on our emergency phone number every day of the week between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. The emergency phone number is: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

2. Arrival:

  • The accommodation can be booked between 14:00 and 20:00 on the day of arrival, by prior arrangement. If you plan to arrive at a later date, please contact us by phone before booking. If you fail to do so, we may not be able to accommodate you.
  • At the specified arrival time, the host or his representative is available on request.
  • Upon arrival, the Guest is obliged to hand over to the accommodation provider his documents suitable for personal identification due to mandatory data entry. If the documents are refused, the accommodation cannot be booked.
  • The amount to be paid on site must also be handed over to the host in cash upon arrival. Our guests can book the accommodation only after paying the full participation fee. Please note that only cash is accepted on site.
  • The accommodation can only be used by guests in the pre-arranged number of guests, which the host has the right to check - without prior notice.

3. Departure:

  • You must leave the accommodation by 10:00 a.m., otherwise a surcharge will be charged. On the day of departure, please leave the key you received from the outside at the door of the accommodation! Please inform the accommodation provider in advance of your departure time by phone or in person.
  • At the specified departure time, the host or his representative is available upon request.

4. Upon arrival, our guests will receive a key to the Guest House so that they can move around freely. We ask our guests to take extra care to turn off the water, turn off the lights, close the windows, lock the door and take the key with them when they leave the accommodation. In case of possible loss of the given keys, the guests are obliged to report it immediately and to reimburse the cost of the key, as well as the replacement of the lock, to the host.

5. Parking: Parking is free of charge for 1 car in the closed yard. Please park in the designated gravel parking space so that the gate entrance remains easily accessible. If you park your vehicle on the street, ask the accommodation provider for guidance on which section can be used for this purpose. Do not park at the gate of the accommodation or on the street, obstructing traffic.

6. If any problems arise in connection with the Guest House during the stay, we ask our Guests to notify the host immediately. We cannot accept subsequent complaints.

7. In case of a longer stay, we provide a weekly change of bed linen and towels, as well as cleaning at no extra charge.

8. Our guests can receive visitors to the Test Guest House only during the day (between 08:00 and 20:00), with the prior permission of the host.

9. Smoking: Teszt Vendégház is a non-smoking accommodation, smoking is strictly prohibited in the building. The designated smoking area is the covered terrace in the common garden. The rule also applies to all alternative tobacco products. Please throw the articles in the ashtray reserved for this purpose!

10. We ask our guests to refrain from all kinds of noisy activities during their stay here and to drive quietly in the common yard when arriving in the evening.

11. It is forbidden to bring animals into the accommodation area.

12. We are not responsible for personal items left in the rooms.

13. We ask our guests to take care of the cleanliness and equipment of the Guest House, to use the equipment according to their intended purpose and not to take them out of the accommodation area.

  • If kitchen utensils are used in the common indoor garden rest area, please return them to the guest house after use.
  • The host is not responsible for any material damage or accidents resulting from improper use of the equipment.
  • The waste bin in the kitchen is used to collect household waste. If it is full, place the trash in the trash can in the yard! Another garbage bag can be requested from the host.

14. Use of shared garden equipment: The covered sitting area, sunbeds and barbecue in the garden are reserved for shared use. Please always clean up after use, which includes removing trash, cleaning tools, and putting out embers.

15. We ask our guests not to eat in the bedrooms. For meals, the guest house's kitchen as well as the communal covered garden lounge can be used. Please keep these rooms clean as well.

16. It is forbidden to bring any kind of flammable material or device into the guest house. Please store the charcoal you bring for grilling at the grill.

17. The Guest House is not equipped with air conditioning. Please make sure that the doors and windows are kept closed during the day in hot weather, so thanks to the thick stone walls, they keep a pleasant, cool temperature in the accommodation, and the air is kept fresh with evening and morning ventilation.

18. During a longer stay, laundry services can be requested from the accommodation provider for an extra charge.

19. The person responsible for the damage or his legal representative must reimburse the accommodation provider for any damage caused in the accommodation area. In case of possible damage, we will settle the damage with the guest on the spot.

20. Payment information:

  • A 30% advance payment by bank transfer is mandatory for booking.
  • Accepted currency: HUF
  • The accommodation can only be booked after paying the entire remaining amount, which can be paid in advance or in cash on the spot. We cannot accept bank cards and SZÉP cards.
  • The accommodation fee includes utility bills and other overhead costs, bed linen with cover, use of 1 towel per guest, final cleaning, and once a week for longer stays.

21. On-site cancellation conditions:

If they decide on the spot to end their stay early, according to the general booking and cancellation conditions, we will not be able to refund money.

22. In case of violation of the policy, the host is entitled to terminate the accommodation service. In this case, we are unable to reimburse the guest for any remaining days. We do not accept guests who are drunk or aggressive! Violation of the policy, as well as the theft or damage of objects, may also result in other measures.

By using the accommodation, it goes without saying that the guest has read, understood and accepted the rules.
